Emma has just learned that her mother is a long-lost Poseidon princess, and now struggles with an identity crisis: As a Half-Breed, she’s a freak in the human world and an abomination in the Syrena realm below. Syrena law states that all Half-Breeds should be put to death.
As if that’s not bad enough, her mother’s reappearance among the Syrena turns the two kingdoms—Poseidon and Triton—against one another. Which leaves Emma with a decision to make: Should she comply with Galen’s request to keep herself safe and just hope for the best? Or should she risk it all and reveal herself—and her Gift—to save a people she’s never known?
Once again, Anna Banks infuses Emma and Galen's points of view with humor, intrigue, and waves of romance.
Cover: I think this series has some of my favourite covers ever. I love ALL the covers for this series. I'm a sucker for cute, romantic cover- and this one is no exception. And the font is stunning.
After finishing Of Poseidon I had to pick up Of Triton straight away.
I'm really loving this series so far.
The tension and action was wracked up in this one.
It was a shame that it was a little shorter than the first one. I feel it could have been bulked up just a tad.
Really enjoyed the developing 'gifts' of Poseidon and Triton.
The mythology and undersea adventures were fun and this series just makes me smile.
Perfect summer reads.
I'm looking forward to picking up the third and final book soon.
4.5/5 stars.
