Do you read mystery novels? If so, why? Is it the mysteries themselves that appeal to you? The puzzle-solving? The murders? Or why don’t you read them? What about them doesn’t appeal?

Mystery is a genre that I don't really read.  It's not because I hate them per say, they just don't seem to appeal to me.  If I read the synopsis of one, and ooooohed and ahhhhhed, then I would pick it up in no time.
But they just don't.
If anyone would like to suggest some in the comments, I'd love to know.
