Now that his best friend, Josh, has happily settled down with his true love on a Montana ranch, small-town lawyer Ty Sullivan starts thinking that maybe single life isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. And when Lauren Cunningham’s no-good ex-husband comes after her for an unexpected trust fund, Ty steps in to protect her. But soon he can’t help but think of her as more than a client. Lauren’s in no mood to jump into another relationship, so how can Ty convince her that her mistake wasn’t getting married, but marrying the wrong guy?
Cover: This is one of those cover that you appreciate, but not exactly the thing you wanna be seen reading on the bus. Problem eliminated by reading on the Kindle.
But I do love this cover.
I enjoy Kristen Proby's Seattle series, and Loving Cara, was a pretty good read for me, but I didn't think it was quite as good as her other series.
I enjoyed this one much more.
I flew through it.
Lauren and Ty were adorable.
He was hot as hell.
And super sweet. And thoughtful. And sexy.
And fictional, Erin, must remember he's fictional.
It was a simple plot, woman who has recently gotten out of a bad marriage, falls for complete opposite guy who has secretly liked her all along, romance, sexy times.
But it was just fun.
A light and fluffy read.
I loved the characters and rooted for them.
This was a great contemporary romance read, and I definitely recommend it.
And boy am I looking forward to the third book in this series. I need it now!
4.5/5 stars.
