This week my current read is Daughter of the Forest by Juliet Marillier.

1) But when I limped over to the doorway, he ws standing silent at the foot of the steps, one hand flat against the wall, his forehead on the cold stones next to it, and his other fist pressed against his mouth so hard the knuckles showed white.
